Purchasing Manager

1. Responsible for supplier sourcing and procurement of all goods and services associated with production programs and plants daily needs. 2. Execute contracts negotiated with suppliers. 3. Implement global and regional sourcing & pricing strategies to improve savings and ensure on-time supply of goods and services. 4. Supplier registration, central authorization and activation within different platforms and controls. 5. Tracking supplier's performance to review specific terms and conditions. 6. Follow up on progress payment terms and its effectiveness. 7. Program timing commitment. EDUCATION 1. BS Degree in business, management or other related discipline 2. 7+ years' experience in material control, production scheduling and procurement 3. 3+ years' experience directly managing material control activities 4. APICS Certification a plus KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 1. Excellent oral and written communication skills 2. Assertiveness and prioritizing skills; Multi-tasking capabilities 3. Excellent computer efficiency, positively motivating communication/people skills
Salary Range: $80K - $140K
Minimum Qualification
8 - 10 years

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
